you mind sharing your matcha tonic recipe/process now that you've been working on it? I want to start making these at home too, but still haven't gone down the internet hole to figure the best way :)
I am basically trying to replicate one I tried at a local coffee shop. I use cherry syrup (1:1 tart cherry juice w/ sugar, boil, and then keep in the fridge), tonic (the little tiny cans), and matcha (make according to the package instructions.) So I pour cherry syrup into the bottom of a glass, add a ton of ice, pour in the whole tiny can of tonic, then add the matcha on top! Would LOVE to know what you think if you try it!!!
i tried it and really liked it! the only thing i changed is that i didn't make syrup from the tart cherry juice. i poured some in my glass and then mixed in a little dissolvable brown sugar that i use for cold coffee and cocktails. it reminds me of an espresso tonic that a local coffee shop makes too. thanks for the recipe--i'll be making it more this summer for sure
Itās honestly a daily delight. I think wonder valley has finally created an affordable sampler set (shampoo, conditioner and cleanser) and a discovery set (includes more items) so people can try their products out
I interviewed Michael Townsend (Secret Mall Apartment fellow) and one of his art collaborators, Leah Smith, a while back for an alumni magazine. It was about their tape art, big temporary public murals using painters tape, basically, but I did hear stories about the apartment! And a bunch of other surprising disruptive but gentle public art adventures. Very cool people. Generous. I think he was one of the first full-time lifelong artists I met.
Iām listening to dietland now (thanks to Libby). Somehow I missed it in 2015 ā great interview
I'm listening on Libby, too!!

Thatās awesome! I might try that myself (not making the syrup) bc I find tonic is pretty sweet, too!
yeah; i just wanted to add a little for that reason and it worked well!
I love the wonder valley oil cleanser! Itās a luxe sensorial experience and it feels like it traps all the allergens pestering me then rinses clean.
Oooh that sounds amazing

I gotta try that!!
I have the wonder valley hinoki oil and love it! Toying with the idea of the roller ball perfume.

oh wow, that's so cool. They talk about the tape art a lot in the movie, and some of his other projects. He seems like a really special person!
I have worked at RISD for over 20 years and know most of these folks. Great story. We have many of these amazing humans at RISD!
That's so cool! I did wonder after the movie if everyone was as amazing as they seemed or if maybe they were secretly really annoying in real life!
A little from column a a little from column b
Thatās so cool!!!!
