For the Wray Studio pants, the hip dimension is 66”. I think for the pleats to lay right, you would want your body dimensions to be quite a bit smaller than that…. Probably at least 4”. I only mention this because I like
Wray a lot but I find their sizing incredibly inconsistent, even across the same style but with different fabrics. I find it is essential to use the garment measures to get even in the right ballpark.
I’ve personally found Bacaal to fit very small so I don’t have trust that their larger sizes would work (I have bought 3x from them not larger sizes).
Also there is Street and Saddle who does free custom for any size and I’ve been loving their pants for me. I actually always check the custom box and give my measurements and have no idea if they are technically “custom” apart from a shorter inseam but they always fit very well. Full disclosure that I sometimes fit test and tech design lite for them.
I would also add that many slower fashion brands will make to measure outside of their size range if you ask. Lora Gene has BEAUTIFUL workwear and they will make to measure. I would also recommend Revelle — Lisa has a pair of beautiful tailored pants right now and I’m confident she would make outside of her size range if necessary. I buy all of my clothes from her custom fit with a different size top and bottom. No extra charge. I cannot recommend enough.
I love seeing a post dedicated to more extended sizes!! The fabric for those Connally Goods pants is dreamy. I don’t wear pants so I asked if they’d make up some skirts in their Sadie pattern in the fabric instead and I loooove them. The redwood color is my current favorite but I expect to wear the pesto green a lot when it’s a little warmer. I personally have not had a lot of luck with Altar - the fit never quite works for me - but they have a lot of fans.
All of the bamboo pants I’ve gotten from free label (except the crops) are easily a 31-33” inseam, and some have heft hems that allow you to take out the hem for additional length (Loretta is the cut I’m thinking of)
I also believe that anything is workwear if you want it to be, so I wear their bamboo bottoms with a more structured top for work all the time.
Lora Gene will make to measure if you are outside their size range. You only need to send a message. Including tall sizes. I believe that you can get extra length at Connally Goods too.
I’ve had great luck with Lucy and yak. I find their rise to be longer which helps them not feel snug on my belly! I love their rumi trousers. They remind me of the chef meals pants that I love but aren’t quite inclusive.

ANY plus *and* tall women found pants you love?

I’ve found Lucy and Yak inseams to be slightly longer as well. I’m at 29.5” and always need a few inches hemmed off.
I have a 35” 😛😛😛😛

Bless you

Until 3/7, Altar is also doing a BOGO sale and giving a second item of their choosing for free.
