The Shorts I've Been Wearing on Repeat

I am firmly in the pro-shorts camp.

I wrote last year about how common it is to be anti-shorts—and yet I am unequivocally a shorts fan, especially when it is super hot. Here’s what I’m wearing right now:

1. Extra High-Waisted SoComfy Sweat Shorts (XS-4X)

Let’s call these what they are — loungewear. But I’ve never worn anything more comfortable in my life. I feel like the stripe makes them a little more exciting to style? These are unfortunately mostly sold out now, and it’s weirdly hard to find a dupe for plus sizes. I feel like they are basically ripped off Adidas, but Adidas doesn’t make a similar style in my size.

2. Danny Denim Shorts (XS-6X+)

If the first shorts were essentially pajamas, I feel like these are basically denim dress shorts. A nice, dark, raw denim—they look classy! RIGHT?????

3. Capri Chambray Shorts (4XS-4XL)

Whens someone on Tiktok asks me where I got my shorts, I take it as a BIG COMPLIMENT.

4. Linen Shorts (XS-5X)

My fave linen shorts from Nettle Studios are currently unavailable, but they do have a cute french terry pair that I have added and removed from my cart multiple times.

5. Spacedye Keep Pace 7" Pocket Short (XXS-4X)

These shorts have become essential to my wellbeing! I wear them to the gym a lot, but they are so soft and stretchy that I often also want to wear them not to the gym.
