That’s not style….thats marketing. This is so so true. But hard because I think what I mostly see is marketing

I love the comparison between clothes and food! That really gives me permission to spend some time thinking about fashion, even though it’s “not my thing.”

How much do I love that outfit with the long shorts and cowboy boots? Everything Sophie said makes complete sense. I’ve unfollowed everyone, who I realized too late, was only trying to sell me stuff.

Ahahahahahaha. I have the opposite problem as many of her clients. As a Fat Girl Of A Certain Age I have SO MANY SHOES OH GOD. (I need to get off my butt and sell a bunch I never wear). I was a teenage mallrat and since I couldn’t shop for clothes, it was shoes. (I also have a ridiculous number of bags but those could be called my special interest so.)

Finally being able to afford to dress how I wanted to is AMAZING. It’s nice to be able to look on the outside the vision I always had in my head.

That comment about a bold shoe made so much sense- and makes me rethink all my brown shoe choices.
