I really enjoyed this, and couldn’t agree more about the comfortable pants and underwear. But please tell us where that gorgeous multi-colored check/plaid dress came from!

I’m pretty sure it’s from ace & jig, but not current.

I really want to raid her closet. And I love hearing about this work. I’m sad I’m just learning about this since I’m so close to Portland too.

Really enjoyed this! Also, would love to know what you think of the fit of the Frye boots once you have a chance to try them! I've been fascinated since Viv Chen mentioned them.

Oof I felt that re exclusionary/previously outgrown clothing being a sense of shame and self-blame. On a lighter note, thanks to Hilary, I’ve added many cool new-to-me designers and brands!

Yes!! Pants and underwear that fit are so crucial. I have almost no well-fitting underwear right now and just don’t know what to do about it now that ARQ is out of business. It’s so frustrating because it make every outfit uncomfortable to have ill-fitting undergarments.

And it’s so great to hear a fellow therapist talking about clothing and how important these things are for ourselves and our clients. Love being introduced to Hilary and her work!!
