The abrupt switch out of dresses reminds me of me as a kid. Until the age of six or seven I only wanted to wear dresses or skirts and then I refused to wear them. I don't remember why exactly; it was probably realising society's disdain for 'girliness'! I wear a mixture now and concur that leggings are superior to jeans!

Great read! I also refused to wear jeans as a child - they were so uncomfortable! - until maybe…fifth or sixth grade when the peer pressure finally became too much to resist? Foreshadowing my total rejection of pants entirely as an adult, I suppose.

What a fun interview with old friends! I love farming/garden clothes and city indulgences. The cape is so amazing!! It’s really helpful to think of style as a broad spectrum! And fluctuating and moving along this spectrum. Thanks for this Marjory and Corinne.

Such a fun peek into your friendship! Thank you both for sharing.

“Genuine style comes from being playful and experimental and intuitive and confident—not from trying to emulate someone else or following a trend.” This is why I follow Big Undies!
