Six First Date Dresses

After recently giving some dating advice on Burnt Toast by Virginia Sole-Smith, I got a very special request from a friend WHO SHALL REMAIN NAMELESS to do a round up of first date dresses for autumn.

The friend in question has a specific dress they have been wearing on warm weather dates all summer. The summer date dress has a grey tank top style bodice and a body-skimming, midi length black skirt. It’s very cute, and definitely not appropriate for cooler weather. Which is where I come in! Let’s find a date-worth dress for fall. Maybe something with long sleeves? The look we are going for, as described by my friend, is “I’m casual and didn’t try too hard, but also I am hot.”

So without further ado, here are six dresses that I (a person who never wears dresses) think would be good for a date and also keep you relatively warm. Plus one more that isn’t a dress!
