Lena Dunham (she/her) is a 39-year-old writer and director based in London and Connecticut. You may know her as the creator of Girls and Too Much, and she also writes Good Thing Going, where we are blessed with her thoughts on Big Weird Coats and coordinating your footwear with your reading material. Her latest book, Famesick, will be out April 14 and I cannot wait to read it.

What are you wearing right now?
As I type I’m wearing a pair of Donni yellow taffeta pants (the XXL works, wish they’d take the size range all the way because their clothes are soft, fun and easy.) A Banana Republic white men’s shirt that somehow turned up in my house despite my never having purchased it! Pink merino socks from Merz b. Schwanen my husband got me at Son of a Stag in London - I loved them so much he ordered 4 more pairs (he felt guilty because he tried to fix our cabinet door and it fell on my toe. So this is making up for the lost toenail.) ALL the same neon salmon. A great luxury to have 5 pairs of socks in one weird color.
